{"id":6146,"date":"2022-01-14T02:22:35","date_gmt":"2022-01-14T10:22:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cyndicombs.com\/coaching\/?p=6146"},"modified":"2022-01-17T17:47:17","modified_gmt":"2022-01-18T01:47:17","slug":"deprived-or-energized","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cyndicombs.com\/coaching\/2022\/01\/14\/deprived-or-energized\/","title":{"rendered":"Deprived or Energized?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u201cI\u2019m going to feel deprived!\u201d &nbsp;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>That is one of the limiting beliefs that held me back for years from reaching my health goals.\u00a0 I was convinced I would feel deprived if I didn\u2019t eat pizza, or delicious baked goods and sugary treats.\u00a0 For years I would say I wanted to eat healthier foods, but in my heart I didn\u2019t WANT to lose my favorites!\u00a0 The problem with some of those favorites is that once I started eating them I wouldn\u2019t stop until they were gone.\u00a0 If the supply was large enough, I would binge on the cookies or fudge or other yummy treats.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But after a binge, I always felt deprived of my energy, and powerless. &#8211; like some other power possessed me and MADE me eat those cookies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When health issues forced me to to abstain from certain foods altogether, I was sure I would feel deprived forever.&nbsp; But once I stopped eating the foods to which I had been giving my power, an intriguing thing happened.&nbsp; I didn\u2019t feel deprived or hungry.&nbsp; I felt satisfied, powerful, and more confident in my body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I became more energized.&nbsp; I am physically more energized because<br>I choose nourishing foods instead of depleting ones, but I am also more energized because I am not draining my energy wondering, \u201cWhy can\u2019t I control myself? Why can\u2019t I reach my health goals?
