Cyndi Combs has lived in Vallejo for 36 years. She graduated from Vallejo Adult school on her 18th birthday, then went on to receive a degree in viticulture from Napa Valley College. Since graduating from Diamond Light School of Massage and Healing Arts in 2007, she has become one of the busiest and most respected state-certified massage therapists in Vallejo, earning the vote for “Best Massage Therapist” in 2013, 2016, 2017 & 2018 from the Times-Herald’s annual reader poll.
Photography began as a hobby when she received her first camera (that took 110 film) at the age of fourteen. For years she carried two Canon AE1 cameras slung around her neck everywhere she hiked. One to shoot color and one for black and white landscapes. When she received her first digital camera as a Christmas bonus from her boss in 2005, her hobby became her passion.
Cyndi enjoys hiking and is an avid fan of the elegant lines of Bay Area bridges, the crashing surf of California’s coastline and the stunning beauty of our State and National Parks. She is willing to hike nearly any distance if you tell her there is a waterfall to shoot. Cyndi is intoxicated by the splendor of our natural world and strives to present art that uplifts the spirit and inspires the viewer.
“I do not create art. The Universe creates art in infinite abundance all around us. My joy is in capturing it to share with others.” ~ Cyndi
