If you look at your body and feel a sense of shame that it’s not “better” in some way, you are NOT alone. An online survey conducted in 2025 found that 80% of American women expressed dissatisfaction with their physical appearance. But what if I told you that shame and dissatisfaction are the very energies keeping you from making the changes you long for?
The Energy Drain of Self-Criticism

We live in a world that teaches us to “fix” ourselves. To chase smaller jeans, tighter skin, smoother curves, stronger muscles. The message is everywhere: “you’re not enough as you are.”
And with that message, a quiet war begins inside. We judge, resist, and criticize our body for not measuring up, and scold ourselves for not doing better.
That constant judgment doesn’t motivate you. Criticism has never motivated anyone. Judgement and criticism drain your energy.
Change Begins with Acceptance
Here’s the paradox: true change never begins with rejection.
Transformation starts with acceptance.

When we soften into non-judgment, when we look at our body with kindness instead of critique, we create the space for healing, growth, and yes, even physical transformation. Think of it like tending a garden. Nothing flourishes if you scold the soil. It thrives when you nurture it, water it, and love it as it is, even before the first sprout appears.
The Energy Shift
Acceptance doesn’t mean giving up on the possibility of change. Quite the opposite! It’s the first step toward lasting manifestation.
When you acknowledge your body with gratitude for all it already does—breathing, carrying you, healing cuts and bruises, holding your memories—you shift your energy from punishment to partnership. That shift is everything.
Thought Energy Manifests
If your thoughts are always, “I am so fat. Why is my body so wrong? Why can’t I get this RIGHT?” your body will reflect that vibration, storing weight and offering experiences that feel “wrong” because manifestation flows from thought energy.
If you want to change your body, you want to change the thoughts you hold about it.
Energy Practice for Transformation

So if you’re dreaming of a “better body,” start by pausing right here, right now. Place your hand on your heart, or your belly, and simply say:
Thank you. I love you. I accept you as you are.
Let this become your daily mantra. From that place of compassion, your body becomes your ally. And with an ally by your side, any transformation you desire becomes not only possible, but joyful.
Grow On
- What is one thing your body does for you every single day that you often overlook?
- Where are you still judging or resisting your body, and how can you soften into acceptance?
- If your body were truly your ally, how would you speak to it, nourish it, and care for it?
Notice what arises without judgment. Your answers are seeds of transformation. Tend them with love and kindness.
